Hello, I'm Lamisa!
I'm a multidisciplinary artist and designer with a dual major in Digital Technology and Emerging Media and Visual Arts at Fordham University. I am currently completing my final semester. My work spans a variety of mediums, including illustration, painting, sketches, and graphic design, each serving as a means to explore ideas, emotions, and visual storytelling.
Art has always been a deeply personal form of expression for me. I am drawn to the challenge of translating abstract concepts and imagined visuals into tangible work. I find purpose in crafting pieces that reflect my perspective and engage others.
Beyond my academic studies, I have held leadership roles that have shaped my creative practice and strengthened my collaborative skills. As President of the Fordham Art Club for the past two years, I have curated exhibitions, organized campus-wide events, and built spaces for emerging artists to share their work. I also serve as Vice President of the Islamic Art & Henna Club, leading creative direction and managing content strategy across digital platforms.
I am currently interning at Allison Brod Marketing + Communications as a Beauty Intern, gaining hands-on experience in brand strategy, campaign development, and the intersection of design and consumer engagement in the beauty industry.
